Dear Applicants,
It has become necessary due to the current outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) worldwide, to temporarily suspend the upcoming Training Programme for the ACICJ on International Criminal Law and Justice which was scheduled to take place on Thursday 23 April to Friday 24 April 2020.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has described this global outbreak of the COVID-19 as a pandemic, with cases in Africa including Nigeria, Togo, Burkina Faso and Cote D’Ivoire. Two cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Ghana on 12th March 2020. It is of utmost importance that the ACICJ put such measures in place to prevent the entry and spread of Coronavirus as much as possible, and further to ensure your safety.
Applicants are encouraged to still put in their applications for the Training Programme. The situation is still being monitored and we hope to update you as soon as possible on any further changes this may cause regarding the Training Programme on the scheduled dates.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
With Best Regards,
African Centre of International Criminal Justice
